Message from Bellevue & Virginia Park Decorative Street Light Committees:
Neighbourhood renewal reconstruction is underway! It will be happening in stages through Virginia Park and Bellevue (work will not start in some areas until next year).
New streetlights are going up in some locations in your neighbourhood temporarily that are not decorative. We are aware of this and it is due to technical work that EPCOR needs to complete now for the renewal. The new decorative streetlights will all be installed in all locations once the renewal work is complete (roads and sidewalks). These temporary lights will be replaced with the decorative lights at that time.
We also have finalized the designs for the new street sign blades that will be going in with the decorative lights and will send out some info about that in the near future!
